Connie Stephens, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA, Director of Audiology
Dr. Stephens graduated with her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas in Austin (go Longhorns!), her Master of Science in Audiology from the University of Texas in Dallas, and her doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Arizona. She has special interests which include pediatric through geriatric hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting, as well as program development and management. She cares tremendously for her patients. Dr. Stephens is Vice President of Education for the Texas Academy of Audiology, state board licensed, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and holds the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology.

 

Wendy Artho, AuD, CCC-A
Dr. Artho attained her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock. Dr. Artho’s special interests include pediatric through geriatric hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting. She is also our resident expert in cochlear implant mapping and follow up, as well as vestibular assessment and treatment. She is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Associaton (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology), a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and is state board licensed. Texas Panhandle born and raised, Dr. Artho loves going back to visit. When at home she spends her time with her husband and four young daughters!

 

Carri Ray, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Ray attained her undergraduate degree from Baylor University in Waco, her Master of Science in Audiology from Galludet University in Washington, D.C., and her doctorate in Audiology from A.T. Stills University of Health Sciences in Arizona. Dr. Ray works with patients of all ages and is Board Certified in Audiology by the American Academy of Audiology. She is state board licensed and is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology). Her special interests include hearing assessment and hearing aid fittings. Dr. Ray’s husband is pursuing his Master of Divinity degree at Hardin Simmons University and they have a precious daughter and 2 cocker spaniels. When Dr. Ray is not working to help others attain better hearing, she can be found knitting. And, yes, she really did knit those socks she is wearing!

 

Ali Bailey, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Bailey attained her undergraduate and doctoral degrees from the University of Northern Colorado. Dr. Bailey’s special interests include pediatric through geriatric hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting, and she reports that making that special connection with her patients is what makes her job such a joy! She is also trained in cochlear mapping and follow-up as well as vestibular assessment and treatment. She is state board licensed, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, a member of Texas Academy of Audiology, and nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology). Born and raised in Abilene, Dr. Bailey and her husband and son Samuel love spending time with friends and family.

 

Amanda Baker, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA
Dr. Baker attained her undergraduate degree from the University of North Texas, and her doctoral degree from the University of Texas at Dallas. Dr. Baker’s special interests include pediatric through geriatric hearing assessment and hearing aid fitting, as well as tinnitus evaluation and electrophysiology. She is state board licensed, a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology, and nationally certificed by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology). Outside of Audiology, Dr. Baker likes to spend her time reading or geocaching with her husband.
